There are times in our lives when we will be faced with moments that want to break us. Circumstances that would have us buckle and memories that want to drown us. This is when bravery is quiet.
Quiet and strong.
Facing these moments we can choose our response, overwhelming grief and inconsolable emotions. Or, we can take it on, face it and quietly absorb the moment and allow God to add a layer of healing to our hearts. I like to choose the latter, it helps me grow, mature and develop an empathy I wouldn’t have otherwise. God is good and if we trust Him with our hearts and lives, He ALWAYS turns our heartbreak into laughter.
Sometimes bravery is quiet. I have witnessed it today in another, and it is beautiful, the strength of facing a fear.
